Ghaltaghchi - Mt. Nerkarar

On Sunday, November 28, together with Hatis Tour we will go to Lori region, St. Mount Hovhannes (Ghaltaghchi). We will visit Hartagyugh, from where we will start the ascent to St. Mount Hovhannes. It is part of the Pambak Range. It is known as a place of pilgrimage named after Ghaltaghchi. On the top of the mountain is the chapel of St. Hovhannes with many beautiful khachkars, from where a beautiful view opens to Lori, Shirak regions and Mount Aragats. We will have a long rest there, and those who wish (if desired) will climb Mount Nerkarar (2312 m), after which we will descend and continue our tour to Saghmosavank (13th century), then we will return to Yerevan. On the way we will have a stop at the food court.
Participants must have: backpack, mountain climbing boots, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hat (summer, winter), gloves, sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
