Hike to Big Desert of Tatev

On Sunday, May 23, together with Hatis Tour we will go to the Syunik region, to the Tatev Mets Anapat (Big Desert of Tatev). On the way, we will stop at the Vayk food court, then we will continue to the Tatev Monastery. We will get acquainted with the Tatev monastery complex, after which we will start a hike to the Vorotan gorge, the Big Desert of Tatev. The famous religious center was built in the Goris region, on the right bank of the Vorotan River, at the confluence of the Vorotan and its tributaries, the Tatev, in 1658/1660. Founder of Catholicos of All Armenians Hakob D. Jughaetsi. We will finish the hike at the Devil's Bridge. On the back way, we will stop at the Harsnadzor security post. The hike is very intense ․ with gorges, forests and generally beautiful views.

Participants must have: mask, backpack, mountain climbing boots, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hats, comfortable hiking gloves, sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
