Hike to Trchkan Waterfall

Saturday, July 8, together with Hatis Tour we will go to Trchkan Waterfall. It is located on the border of Shirak and Lori regions on the left tributary of Pambak river Chichkhan river. The Chichkhan River originates from the north-eastern slopes of the Shirak mountain range at an altitude of 2250 meters and is 29 km long. Trchkan waterfall has been included in the list of natural monuments since 2008. It is the tallest waterfall in Armenia, with a height of 23.5 meters and an average water consumption of about 1.5 tons per second. On the way, we will stop at the Gntuniq food court. We will reach the waterfall from the village by lorry, return by foot, and those who wish, by lorry. The hike route is about 12 km.

Participants must have: backpack, mountain climbing boots, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hats, comfortable hiking gloves, sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
