Climbing Mount Dimats

On Saturday, May 18, together with the Hatis Tour, we will go to the Tavush region to climb one of the most beautiful mountains of Ijevan- the mountain Dimats. On the contrary, it is located at an altitude of 2378 meters, the Ice Mountain is inferior in height, but in its rocky beauty it is more attractive and beautiful. The mountain is located in Dilijan National Park, and from the top there is a magnificent view of the Ijevan Mountains. We will start the hike from the vicinity of the monastery of Haghartsin: First we will take the direction to the hidden waterfall. Along the road, rich in beautiful forest views, we will also reach the waterfall. After seeing the waterfall, we will climb Mount Diamts. The length of the walk is about 17 km.
Participants must have: backpack, mountain climbing boots, hiking poles, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hat (summer, winter), sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
