Mrav Mount

Mount Mrav is located in the Eastern extension of the Sevan Ridge of Armenia. The length is about 70 km . The maximum height reaches the peak of Gomshasar (3724 m). The latter is also called the mountain of courage. It consists of volcanic rocks, cut through by deep gorges and river valleys. The chain begins from the nodal peak of Bolshaya Khinal (3,367 m), in which four mountain ranges meet in the form of a cross: Mravsky, Sevansky, Kaflankala and East Sevansky. There are about twenty peaks on the chain, the height of which exceeds 3000 meters. The last three-thousandth of the chain-Mt. Mt. 3343 m, after which the mountain range is named. This is the watershed of the right tributaries of the middle reaches of the Kura and Tartar. The landscape is mountainous and meadow, there are forests on the slopes, landslides, rubble, landslide ponds.
