Hike to the wonders of Martiros

On Sunday, May 22, together with Hatis Tour we will go to the Vayots Dzor region to discover the wonders of the village of Martiros. We will start the hike from the village of Martiros. First we will visit the church of Hin Martiros village Astvatsatsin, then we will head to Lake Chumov, which is located at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level. We will continue our hike to the Martirosants Monastery (or the Church of St. Astvatsatsin Martiros). It is an almost unexplored and unprecedented lithographic structure. The church is the most famous and largest rock architectural complex in Armenia after Geghard, and inside it is the first in Armenian church construction with high constructive art. We will continue our hike to the Martiros waterfall. On the way, we will have a stop at the Vayk food court.

Participants must have: backpack, mountain climbing boots, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hat (summer, winter), sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
