Climbing Mount Hatis - One Day Tour in Armenia

Mount Hatis (Mount Shamiram), a volcanic massif located in the Kotayk region. The name of Hatis Tour is in honor of Mount Hatis. The height is 2528 m. It is conical, the slopes are cut by deep gorges. In case of good weather from the top you can see Mount Aragats, Ara, Gutanasar, Mount Ararat and Geghama mountain range. There are rocky outcrops. The Forty springs originate from the southern foot. The mountain is visible from Yerevan. On the mountain are the ruins of Shamiram fortress, there is a small cave. We will start the ascent from Kaputan village, after which we will go down to the road to Kotayk village, the car will already meet us, we will return to Yerevan.
