Climbing Mount Arteni

On Sunday, January 14, together with Hatis Tour we will go to Mount Arteni, Aragatsotn region. We will first visit the Katoghike Church in Talin, it was built in the second half of the 7th century. The construction is attributed to the Kamsarakan dynasty. Watching it, we will go to the foot of Mount Arteni, we will start the ascent from 1500 meters, the height of the mountain is 2047 meters, it is a volcanic mass, the last eruption was registered in 1340. After landing we will go to Qagheni fortress (Dashtadem fortress), it is located on the southern edge of Dashtadem village. It is believed that it was built on the site of the Urartian fortress during the Kamsarakans in the 7th century.
Participants must have: backpack, mountain climbing boots, hiking poles, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hat (summer, winter), hiking gaiters, gloves, sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, one-day food and water
