Mount Sevsar or Sevqar - a majestic peak situated in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province, part of the stunning Vardenis mountain range. Nestled in one of Armenia’s most vibrant mountainous regions, Sevsar is an extinct volcano rising to 3,063 meters above sea level. From its summit, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of Lake Sevan, the Vardenis Mountains, the Vardavan Reservoir, and Mount Armaghan. A highlight of any visit is the journey to the Sevsar Observatory, an ancient astronomical platform that beautifully blends celestial knowledge with the mystical energy of the mountains.
