Arrival in Cusco Peru
The plane arrives in the city of Cusco, located in the southwest of Peru, which was once the capital of the mighty Inca Empire. In about 15-20 minutes from the airport, we will reach the hotel, where we will have the opportunity to relax after a long flight. After resting, we will begin our first acquaintance with the city. The narrow and cobblestone streets of Cusco, the unique combination of Inca architecture, small squares and low stone buildings give the city a real historical atmosphere. In the city center, you can often meet locals in traditional clothes selling handmade souvenirs, and at every step you will see colorful views that immediately convey the cultural soul of Peru. Getting to know the city also allows you to adapt to the altitude of Cusco (about 3500 m above sea level), which is very important for implementing the plans for the next few days.
